Spring Cakes

It's raining here, so instead of sitting out in a sunny garden I am remembering all the wonderful cakes I need to tell you about that I have baked. When I want to bake something I find myself looking in 3 places: Magnolia Table, Half Baked Harvest, and Sally's Baking Addiction. All three places never disappoint!

We have enjoyed baking over the last few months:

(26) Coffee Cake (Magnolia Table)

(27) Strawberry Shortcake (Magnolia Journal)

(28) White Cake with Peanut Butter Frosting (Sally's Baking Addiction)

(29) Lemon Bundt Cake (Magnolia Table)

These cakes were all VG and I would bake again. You must like lemons to eat the lemon cake! The Strawberry Shortcake is always the absolute best with the homemade whip cream. Thankful to try these recipes and eat them with family. We got to celebrate Freddy turning 8 with the Shortcake (seems like a tradition since we have ordered the Marigold's Frasier cake for several birthdays in the past).

This past weekend I got to enjoy a slice of Texas Sheet Cake (30) on a warm Spring night. It was so tasty with a hint on cinnamon in it! I need to ask my friend for the recipe to try and bake it on my own.
