16 & 17...a God who fulfills His purpose for me

We were reading Psalm 57 (which is a fantastic Psalm) and verse 2 really struck me, "I cry out to God Most High, to God, who fulfills his purpose for me." We spend so much time trying to figure out what God wants for our lives and trying to make big decisions accordingly and, quite frankly, it can get really stressful. But what I like about this verse is that we don't have to fulfill God's purpose for us, He fulfills it, we just have to let Him. What a load off of our shoulders! We are praying this week that God will fulfill His purpose for our lives and that we will stop being stubborn and let Him, Ha!
