Did I mention that I had a birthday recently?

I am now in my late 20's. Ha! I turned 26 this year and it was a great celebration all week! My garden friends spoiled me with a hydrangea plant for our backyard (see previous post). I am just in love with it.

They also hosted an amazing lunch followed by a delicious cheesecake. I dreamed about it for the whole week leading up to the party!

Then my mother hosted a great family birthday dinner where we surprised my grandma with a combined birthday celebration. She had a trifle dessert (her favorite) and I got my very own Spice cake. (Completed with a pregnant women drawn on top!)

It too was delicious and an exciting night. They gifted me a bird bath for the backyard garden (also pictured in previous post!).

Since these wonderful celebrations I have been busy with 2 amazing little boys, my nephews! My sister and her boys are here visiting for a few weeks. The boys are so much fun to play with all day!

We have also been preparing for the next adventure in our lives, the baby! It has been a great pregnancy where we have been blessed with support from family and friends. I have been feeling good so far and we are praying for a healthy baby! We still have a few more weeks to go, but are ready to be parents when she decides to come! Redford is also preparing (we think)...or at least I am sure he will add some great stories to the blog with his reaction.
