Outside the city
Hello Nor Cal.
The first stop: IKEA. We had never been to this amazing warehouse of furniture. We clearly realized why we can't find cheap modern design in Colorado. We don't have IKEA yet. We scoped out several pieces we would have in our house once it opens in Denver!
Second stop: In and Out Burger! Need I say more... (we did get a shake too!)
After seeing some of the best parts of California we started on our journey to wedding weekend extravaganza! The first night we had the rehearsal at the church. There we met all the wedding party and family! What a great group they selected to be at their sides. The bride had on a really fab dress to celebrate the night! Then the rehearsal dinner was at a really delicious Mediterranean restaurant in downtown Palo Alto. Then several of the crew took in the town. Cody's friend Paul won a hat staying on a ridding bull! Then Cody and I decided to head to the hotel a little early. Problem was...didn't know our location in relation to the car. After talking with several locals (all with iphones) we finally arrived. It just happened to be 30 minutes after everyone else was already at the hotel! HA!

The next day was the wedding. They had a great humorous but classic ceremony with an objection to start. (All weddings ask, so why not make it fun!) Then the rings were delivered with kittens! They had to be removed for purring to loudly :) The reception followed with lawn games and cocktails. Then the rest of the night was filled with delicious food (burgers, steak sandwiches, and tuna steaks) YUM! And may I say dancing, a lot of dancing. We had a great time and are so excited for the newlyweds!!
I am really sad that I did not get a photo with the bride on the day of the wedding, but her dress was amazing! Old Hollywood glam with a modern flare. So gorgeous!!

Yay for Ikea! We passed two this weekend on our trip down to south Florida. When are they coming to Denver?
