High Tea Bridal Shower

This was my first high tea! It was so much fun and what a great idea for a bridal shower. The bride (a cousin to-be) loves tea so this fit her so well. We had 4 diferent types of tea to choose from and then several meal coarses to go with the tea.

The bread coarse included muffins, sconces, and gourmet loafs with different homemade jelly/butter spreads.

Then came the sandwich coarse with cucumber bites, chicken salad, and egg salad. Everything was homemade including the filo cups! Some how I missed taking a picture of the dessert plates. (Actually I know how, it was too good to stop eating!!) Anyway that plate consisted of treats like brownies, chocolate covered strawberries, and cream puffs! YUM, YUM. Hats off to the cooks and hosts of this shower. It was so fun to have a great High Tea with this bride (not pictured, but this was our table).
